Gifford Author Series with Jason Reynolds

The Friends of the Central Library will present two authors this fall. Jason Reynolds on October 26 and Yaa Gyasi on Nov. 9. They will be live at the Crouse Hinds Theater in downtown Syracuse.

A New York Times bestseller of novels and poetry for young adult and middle grade audiences, Reynolds’s most recent book, “Look Both Ways: A Tale Told in Ten Blocks” was a National Book Award finalist and named one of the best books of 2019 by NPR and The New York Times. His collaboration with author and historian Dr. Ibram X. Kendi, on the book “Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You” helps young readers understand race and society.

Student tickets are available for $10 each. For student tickets or group (10+) rates, call the box office at (315) 435-2121. Student and group tickets can not be purchased online.
