National Day of Action to Demand an End to Gun Violence

In the wake of the massacres in Buffalo and Uvalde, TX, Central New Yorkers will come together to demand real gun safety legislation from their representatives in Washington D.C. A group will march from the Everson Museum in downtown Syracuse to the Federal Building where attendees will rally. This event will be one of more than 500 across the country as part of a national day of action called by March For Our Lives. Speakers and performers to include local students and teachers, Clifford Ryan of OGs Against Gun Violence and singer/songwriter Colleen Kattau. League of Women Voters Syracuse Metro will be at the Federal Building to register voters. Co-sponsoring organizations include: March For Our Lives; Women’s March Syracuse; Moms Demand Action, Syracuse; OGs Against Violence; Syracuse Cultural Workers; Indivisible Syracuse; Indivisible Salt City; Indivisible Onondaga County, and Empower CNY.
